MCALLEN – The McAllen Police Department is investigating the cause of death regarding a body found Tuesday morning.

Police responded to the call around 9:00 a.m. near Jackson Avenue.

When they arrived, they found a deceased man inside a taxi car.

McAllen Police Lt. Joel Morales said it’s not known whether the man was the driver of the car. No foul play is suspected.

So far, McAllen police aren’t releasing the victim’s name.
