DPS Find Drugs Worth Millions During Traffic Stop
FALFURRIAS – The Texas Department of Public Safety made a drug bust worth millions of dollars north of the Rio Grande Valley.
State troopers seized more than a ton of marijuana during a traffic stop Friday in Brooks County, south of Falfurrias.
The driver, 42-year-old Ruben Chavera from Zapata, is charged with possession of marijuana.
The value of the drugs was estimated at more than $15 million.
