WESLACO – More federal money may be headed to Texas, courtesy of the Rio Grande Valley and as part of the president’s new tax reform law.

Sections of Cameron, Willacy, Starr and Hidalgo counties have been identified as opportunity zones, which were submitted by Texas state leaders to the U.S. Treasury Department.
