RAYMONDVILLE – A salary boost is on the way for Willacy Couny’s lowest paid county employees.

They will make at least $25,000 a year once the new fiscal year budget goes into effect Oct. 1.

County leaders approved a $7.8 million budget; $200,000 more than the last budget.
