Police: Woman Arrested after Using Taser during Robbery
WESLACO - Weslaco police said a woman used a Taser during a robbery on an employee. Two people are facing charges in the case.
The crime happened early Tuesday afternoon on the 1500 block of West Interstate 2. According to police, Jennifer Leigh Forte used a Taser on an employee.
Officers state she then left in a truck driven by 43-year-old Michael Lee Goforth. McAllen police later arrested the two during a traffic stop.
The two are facing charges of aggravated robbery. Forte's bond was set at $100,000 and Goforth's at $50,000.
