Sharyland ISD superintendent responds to uproar over hazing incident involving students
MISSION – The superintendent from Sharyland Independent School District is responding to allegations of a hazing incident involving students.
The alleged behavior happened late last year during an athletic event in Corpus Christi.
Officials are not confirming the nature of the allegations. Authorities say it’s because minors are involved.
The superintendent calls the “chatter” on social media “inaccurate” and “reckless”.
Corpus Christi police continue to investigate.
