Harlingen city leaders are looking to make the city streets safer by adding speed humps.

Harlingen City Commissioner Rene Perez said the city launched a survey on multiple streets on the need to reduce speeding.

The city is conducting research into multiple streets, and hope to be done within the next month to add the speed humps by next year.
