WESLACO –The state continues its investigation into illegal voter fraud in the Rio Grande Valley.

The Office of Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton issued a press release Wednesday saying they will prosecute anyone who’s found to have participated in organized illegal voting.

So far, four people have been arrested for voter fraud in connection with the November 2017 election in the city of Edinburg.

Multiple agencies including the Texas Rangers and the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
