WESLACO – The Transportation Security Administration says they expect a record number of people flying this holiday season.

TSA is expecting 41 million passengers to travel through security checkpoints nationwide within the next couple of weeks.

People carrying gifts are advised to hold off on the gift-wrapping since these items may be subject to additional inspections.

TSA recommends placing jewelry in carry-on bag.

There are also certain standards listed for those who are bringing food with them.
