More than 200 people accused of entering the country illegally were seen being flown back to Central America from the Valley International Airport in Harlingen.

A total of 213 migrant families and 38 adult men and women were seen early Wednesday morning being deported in two separate flights.

The flights are part of ICE's enforcement plan for people who enter the country illegally.

ICE officers at the scene said the single adults arrived from the detention facility in Port Isabel, while the families were in Border Patrol custody.

Each adult and child had their temperature checked and were inspected before they got on the plane, where Channel 5 News was told food and water would be provided.

According to ICE, over 91,000 people who’ve entered the country illegally have been removed by them since July 15.

The flights are expected to occur every week.
