ALAMO – The Edinburg Police Department arrested a five-time robber from Hargill on Friday morning.

Rudy Tanguma, 38, allegedly took money from at least five different convenience stores around Edinburg, La Villa, San Carlos and Elsa.

Investigators say he was armed with a gun during several of the robberies.

He’s expected to go before a judge soon.
