HARLINGEN – A Harlingen woman is still struggling with flooding issues almost two months after the storm.

Yolanda Trevino takes care of her grandchildren and she's worried they might get sick because of the damp patches on her walls.

"It started dripping. I even have video where you know the water's running towards that way. I even put towels, clothes everything on the floor," she says.

Trevino contacted the manager and a handyman fixed the window and the door, but nothing was done about the wall.

Trevino says the office manager told her they wouldn't replace the walls so she didn't pay this month's rent.

She received an eviction notice last Friday.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke to Carefree Valley Resorts District Manager Maria Limpias.

She says they immediately submitted an order for the work to be done after Trevino contacted them about the damp walls.
