BROWNSVILLE – Pres. Trump’s plan to deploy the National Guard to the Rio Grande Valley brings confusion to a Cameron County judge.

Judge Eddie Trevino says he was initially surprised at Wednesday’s official announcement, adding he doesn’t think the plan is well thought out.

He says there could be a better use of federal dollars to help secure the border.
