From Dishwasher to Owner: The Many Stories of The Vermilion Restaurant
BROWNSVILLE - In the early years, customers arrived by horseback; now The Vermillion Restaurant in Brownsville is celebrating its 85th anniversary.
Over the years the restaurant has changed.
Dan Davidson’s father owned The Vermillion back then.
Dan has now sold the vermillion to one of his employees.
“About 1980 George over here, came on as a 13-year old dishwasher. He was still in high school at the time," he says.
